Erynn's bio

 
I'm a world traveler and an East Coaster with a heart that loves the wild untamed West. Since earning my BA from North Greenville University, I have been a missionary, a counselor, an ESL teacher, and a nanny. I am a writer of Romantic Suspense and a researcher of things that probably have me on several government watch lists. I've been a member of ACFW, the Christian PEN, the My Book Therapy Voices, a BRMCWC alum, and a chronic lurker in many an on-line writing community. 

I'm proud to be represented by the amazing Rachelle Gardner of Books & Such Literary. I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband, precocious little boy, THREE cat babies, and a gaggle of characters clamoring to have their stories told.

I love story, and I think that's what makes me a great editor. I can see the diamond in your rough, and it's my job to help make it sparkle. And since I'm a writer first, I know the pain of seeing your baby ripped to shreds. That's where the tactful comes in. I'll help you keep your voice your voice and hopefully make the whole process as painless as possible. 

My specialty is characters. I want to help you deepen your point of view and make readers fall in love with your hero...and maybe even your villain. I'm an unapologetic grammar nerd, but I don't take anything (except the Oxford Comma) too seriously. 

I hope we can laugh our way through learning the rules--and learning when and where to break them--together.
